The Pre-Primary section of Vidya Vikas Academy observed Mango Day on 9th of July 2010. Children as well as the staff dressed in green, yellow, and orange (colours of mangoes). The Programme started with a small prayer held at the VVA Hall. Tr. Leena and Tr. Fatima explained the importance of the mango tree and the useful products that are made from mangoes.
Children were introduced to various ways preparations made from mangoes like pickle, jams, juices etc… Later the students and teachers also planted mango trees around the school campus.
