Hosted by Vidya Vikas Academy and conducted by Sunday Evening Quiz Club, with the on-going football fever all set to climax on Sunday with the World Cup Finals ,an exciting inter school quiz was held on Saturday July 10, 2010. Of the 29 teams for the preliminary round, 6 teams - 2 from Kendriya Vidyalaya (Vasco), 1 from Mushtifund (Panaji), 1 from Loyola (Margao) and 2 from Vidya Vikas Academy (Margao) made it to the finals. 
In a nail-biting finis, Kendriya Vidyalaya edged past Vidya Vikas Academy, to become the winners. Third place went to Mushtifund.
VVA students also performed a western and classical fusion dance on the song Waving Flag to entertain the audience.

A special thanks to Dr. Ira Da Costa for all the liaison work and for the LCD and the screen, to Mrs. Cynthia Dourado, Dr. Mrs. Shailaja Parab and Mr. Kenneth Ozorio Saldanha for the prizes, and to the PTA of VVA for co-sponsoring the event. Thanks to all the VVA staff for the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the quiz.
