Vidya Vikas Academy is 'a school with a difference'. And in our quest to channelize the talents and energy of our pupils, we challenged them to generate ideas for a cultural evening with a 'global' theme and work to put together their ideas to be presented in a cultural show.
Guided and encouraged by their Class Teachers and Subject Teachers, the pupils of Classes 6 to 9 researched in the library and surfed the net, whetted ideas, discussed, debated, wrote, edited, choreographed, designed, and finally submitted their work class-wise wherein each class presents history, culture, cuisine, dances, customs, songs, traditions, personalities or any interesting trivia to bring to you a production'globalrythms@vva.com'.
This production gives them an experience of the world of theatre, choreography, music, set designing, event and stage management besides giving them an exposure to the rich and diverse culture and an understanding of the world we live in. The show was presented by the pupils of Classes 6 to 9 and in the Choral Group we have pupils of Class 5. The pupils of Class 10 have assisted with the sound and lighting.
The encouragement of the Management, the guidance from the staff and the assistance from parents has enabled our pupils to stage this educational and entertaining extravaganza.
